Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences.

We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyze data about web page traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to member needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system.

Cookies will be used for the following purposes: Research and development; User targeting and Cookies are used to track visitors to our site. This data will be used by ourselves and our agents.

Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better website, by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.

Updates

Please note that these Terms of Use may be updated from time to time. Notification of any changes will be stated clearly on the Website. In continuing to use the Website, you confirm that you accept the new Terms of Use in full.

Registration

You can only access areas of the Website by registering.

Trainer: When you register on the Website you are creating a Trainer Profile. In this process you will be asked to provide personal information (name/institutional email/institution/position) and will be required to create a password. We will store your password, but in an encrypted format, so only you can access it. If you forget the password, you can reset it. In order to prevent fraud, you must keep this password confidential and must not disclose it or share it with anyone. Since the learning environment is connected to 3D-CIRCULAR, we will ask for your institutional email. In order to ensure you are the right user, we will send a confirmation link to this institutional email, which you must accept, in order to be registered. You agree that personal information that you supply to us will be accurate and kept updated at all times.

Institution: The institution, which you have typed in, when registering your Trainer Profile, will be registered in our database as an Institution Profile. Trainers Profiles with the same email domains will be connected to the same Institution Profile. If we have reason to believe that there is the likelihood of a breach of security or misuse of the Website through your Trainer Profile or the use of your password, we may require you to change your password, or we may suspend your account.

Terminate account: If you, for some reason, want to terminate your Trainer Profile or your Institution Profile, send an email to contact@3dc-mentora.eu, and we will close the account and delete any data you have entered if requested. You may not possess more than one Trainer Profile from the same company, within the Website. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to delete or cancel the registration of any person who, in our opinion, possesses more than one profile linked to one company.

Use of Data

As 3D-CIRCULAR is a research project, we will record and use Trainer Assessment results, Learning Module Completion data, and Learning Module, and these will be kept confidential. Data will be used as input for general statistics and analysis, and consolidated results will be available as part of the 3D-CIRCULAR deliverables, scientific papers and communicated broadly via consortium partners. Individual Trainer or Individual Institution Data will never be shared. We may use your company email to contact you. When you register, we will add you to our newsletter list and keep you updated with benchmarking news unless you actively deselect this service under “my Profile”.
